Shanghai Xrun at 2026 ABB Supplier Conference: Domestic Epoxy Insulation Materials Empower Power Industry

The 2026 ABB Supplier Conference in Xiamen concluded successfully. Centered on the theme of “Gathering Momentum, Empowering for a New Win-Win Chapter”, the event brought together industry partners to discuss goals for the 15th Five-Year Plan new energy system. Computing power, advanced manufacturing and green hydrogen industries are unlocking brand-new growth opportunities for the power equipment market.

Shanghai Xrun attended the conference as ABB’s local supplier of insulating materials. Back in 2017, aligned with ABB’s strategy of supply chain localization, diversification and cost optimization, Xrun kicked off long-term collaboration with ABB as its sole Chinese supplier. As a global benchmark in the power equipment sector, ABB leads high-quality industrial development with stringent quality standards, cutting-edge technical innovation and an open, win-win supply chain philosophy. It also provides a high-quality enabling platform and growth space for domestic upstream and downstream suppliers, supporting local enterprises in technical iteration and quality improvement.

Starting from 2023, Xrun’s technical team completed full qualification testing of epoxy materials for medium-voltage insulators and instrument transformers in partnership with ABB Xiamen. Stable mass delivery commenced in 2025. Meanwhile, the ABB EMS energy management platform was deployed to support refined green management of distributed photovoltaic systems.

Looking ahead, consistent quality remains the top baseline of our partnership.
